Existen dos opciones para poner los cubiertos en la mesa. (There are two options for setting the cutlery on the table.)
Primera opción: los cubiertos se ponen poco a poco, en cada plato o comida. (First option: the cutlery is placed little by little, with each course or plate.)
Segunda opción: todos los cubiertos se ponen al principio, antes de empezar. (Second option: all the cutlery is placed at the start, before you begin.)
En el lado derecho se colocan la cuchara de sopa, la pala de pescado y el cuchillo de carne. (On the right side are placed the soup spoon, the fish serving spatula and the meat knife.)
