A couple has just arrived at Barajas airport. Both want to buy a travel card to get around Madrid.

El metrobús de diez viajes sirve para viajar en metro o en autobús. (The ten-trip Metrobús pass can be used to travel by metro or by bus.)
En una tarjeta multi se pueden llevar dos metrobús de diez viajes. (On a Multi card you can carry two ten-trip Metrobús passes.)
El suplemento de aeropuerto es obligatorio para entrar o salir del aeropuerto en metro. (The airport supplement is mandatory to enter or exit the airport by metro.)
El abono turístico ofrece transporte ilimitado por día natural e incluye la tarjeta multi gratis. (The tourist pass offers unlimited transport per calendar day and includes the Multi card for free.)

Una pareja acaba de llegar al aeropuerto de Barajas y quiere comprar una tarjeta de transporte para moverse por Madrid.

A couple has just arrived at Barajas airport and wants to buy a transport card to get around Madrid.
1. Carlos: Creo que lo mejor es coger el metro hasta el hotel. (I think the best thing is to take the metro to the hotel.)
2. María: Sí, primero necesitamos una tarjeta de transporte. (Yes, first we need a transport card.)
3. Carlos: Vamos a la máquina. Mira, podemos cargar varios viajes en la tarjeta. (Let's go to the machine. Look, we can load several trips onto the card.)
4. María: Aquí pone que permite hasta dos viajes en Metrobus. (Here it says it allows up to two Metrobus trips.)
5. Carlos: Y también necesitamos el suplemento para salir del aeropuerto. (And we also need the supplement to leave the airport.)
6. María: Vale, así llegamos a Nuevos Ministerios sin ningún problema. (Okay, that way we get to Nuevos Ministerios without any problem.)
7. Carlos: Desde allí vamos al hotel, dejamos las maletas y nos refrescamos. (From there we go to the hotel, leave the suitcases, and freshen up.)
8. María: Después podemos ir al Retiro para pasear un rato y luego coger el metro hasta Gran Vía por la tarde. (Then we can go to El Retiro to take a walk for a while and then take the metro to Gran Vía in the afternoon.)
9. Carlos: Mañana también podemos visitar Sol y caminar por los alrededores. (Tomorrow we can also visit Sol and walk around the area.)
10. María: Perfecto, carguemos todo ahora y bajemos al andén. (Perfect, let's load everything now and go down to the platform.)

La Tarjeta Transporte Público Multi (TTP Multi) es anónima. La pueden usar varias personas y puede llevar billetes como sencillo, 10 viajes o turístico.
