Exercise 2: Dialogue

Instruction: Read the dialogue and answer the questions.

Lee el diálogo sobre el piso de los Javis, una pareja que vive en Madrid.

Read the dialogue about the Javis' flat, a couple who live in Madrid.
1. Sergio: ¡Bienvenida! ¿Qué tal ha sido el viaje? (Welcome! How was the trip?)
2. Sofía: ¡Hola! Bien, sólo un poco de retraso. (Hi! Fine, just a little delay, but everything else was perfect.)
3. Sergio: ¡Quítate el abrigo! Por fin puedes ver nuestra casa completa. (Take off your coat! You can finally see our whole house.)
4. Sofía: Es incluso más bonita que en las fotos, ¡y qué espacio! (It's even prettier than in the photos, and what a lot of space!)
5. Sergio: Primero la cocina, tenemos mucho espacio para guardar las cosas. (First, the kitchen. We have lots of cupboards to keep everything tidy.)
6. Sofía: Se ve genial y muy práctica. (I'm impressed; it looks great and very practical.)
7. Sergio: Este es el salón, tiene un televisor grande y un sofá que también es cama para cuando vienen invitados. (This is the living room. It has a big TV and a sofa that also turns into a bed for when guests come.)
8. Sofía: Muy acogedor, completamente a vuestro estilo. Las lámparas, cuadros y otros detalles crean un ambiente especial. (Very cozy, completely your style. The lamps, paintings, and other details create a special atmosphere.)
9. Sergio: La estantería, la mesita y la cama de los perros… (The shelves, the coffee table, and the dogs' bed…)
10. Sofía: ¿De verdad duermen los perros aquí? (Do the dogs really sleep here?)
11. Sergio: ¡No, qué va! Están tan mimados que cada noche duermen con nosotros en la cama. (No, of course not! They’re so spoiled that every night they sleep with us in bed.)
12. Sofía: Claro, entonces vamos a ver vuestro dormitorio, tengo mucha curiosidad. (Sure, then let's take a look at your bedroom. I'm very curious.)
