Esta noche hay una cena de empresa en la oficina. Vienen ocho invitados y queremos una mesa sencilla y elegante. Primero ponemos el blanco sobre la mesa grande. Después colocamos un llano para cada persona y, encima, un pequeño para la ensalada. A la izquierda del plato va el y a la derecha el y la . Delante del plato ponemos una para el vino y un para el agua.

Las están dobladas dentro de las tazas de café. La de agua está en el centro de la mesa, entre las copas. La olla con la sopa está cerca de la cocina, no sobre la mesa. La sartén con la carne está al lado del horno. Al final de la cena lavamos los platos y los vasos en la cocina.
Tonight there is a company dinner at the office. Eight guests are coming and we want a simple, elegant table. First we put the white tablecloth on the large table. Then we place a dinner plate for each person and, on top of it, a small bowl for the salad. To the left of the plate goes the fork, and to the right the knife and the spoon. In front of the plate we place a wine glass and a water glass.

The napkins are folded inside the coffee cups. The water jug is in the center of the table, between the glasses. The pot with the soup is near the kitchen, not on the table. The frying pan with the meat is next to the oven. At the end of the dinner we wash the plates and rinse the glasses in the kitchen.
