À l'approche du , plusieurs collaborateurs ont demandé comment s'organiser le jour de l'élection. Le est ouvert de 8 h à 20 h : chacun peut s'absenter pendant son temps de travail dans une limite raisonnable et en accord avec son manager. Merci de prévoir ce créneau à l'avance, surtout si vous pensez dans une autre commune.

Rappel : le jour même, l'employeur ne doit donner aucune . Dans l'équipe, on peut débattre des et des enjeux internationaux, à condition de respecter les opinions et de ne pas chercher à les collègues. Si des informations manifestement fausses circulent, signalez-les au service communication.
As the vote approaches, several employees have asked how to organize themselves on election day. The polling station is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.: everyone may be absent during working hours within a reasonable limit and with their manager’s agreement. Please plan this time slot in advance, especially if you plan to vote in another municipality.

Reminder: on the day itself, the employer must not give any voting instructions. Within the team, we can discuss electoral platforms and international issues, provided we respect opinions and do not try to influence colleagues. If clearly false information is circulating, report it to the communications department.

(This morning, I went to my polling station before going to work, because I might have to travel on Sunday. In the voting booth, I took the ballot paper and thought about the election platform of the main candidates. Around me, some people mentioned abstention and casting a blank vote, explaining that the election campaign had had little influence on them. Since I am a poll worker, I stayed afterwards to count the votes and verify the ballot. At closing time, someone wanted to challenge the results, but the procedure was explained to them. The polls perhaps suggest a coalition and a rather fragile mandate.)

Oui, je pense aller au bureau de vote demain matin : je ne doute pas que ça compte, même si la campagne m’a aussi épuisé(e). Cela dit, je ne suis pas certain(e) que la participation remonte beaucoup, vu ce que j’entends autour de moi.

J’ai lu plusieurs programmes électoraux, surtout sur le pouvoir d’achat et la politique étrangère. Une coalition est possible selon les résultats, mais il est peu probable que les positions convergent rapidement.

18h chez toi, ça me va. Pour la discussion, proposons de rester sur les idées et d’éviter les attaques personnelles — on peut chacun expliquer brièvement pourquoi on soutient tel point, puis poser des questions si l’autre veut préciser.

Yes, I think I’ll go to the polling station tomorrow morning: I have no doubt that it matters, even if the campaign also wore me out. That said, I’m not sure turnout will rise much, given what I’m hearing around me.

I read several election platforms, especially on purchasing power and foreign policy. A coalition is possible depending on the results, but it is unlikely that positions will converge quickly.

6 p.m. at your place works for me. For the discussion, let’s suggest sticking to ideas and avoiding personal attacks — each of us can briefly explain why we support a given point, then ask questions if the other person wants to clarify.
