In Paris, the city hall is reopening the discussion about a strict restriction on electric scooters in certain neighborhoods. Supporters’ position is simple: pedestrian safety, noise reduction, and better coexistence. The reasoning is based on recent accidents and on the idea that public space is already saturated. However, opponents challenge a measure deemed punitive for regular users.

According to a users’ association, the main argument is that the scooter remains a practical means of transport and relatively harmless for the environment. Nevertheless, it acknowledges behaviors that need correcting and calls for concrete solutions: parking areas, checks, training. City hall says it is aware of the criticism, while fearing that the objection might block a compromise. The debate, which is stirring public opinion, will continue at an open meeting on Monday.

Merci pour l'envoi du dossier. À mon avis, nous ne devrions pas signer tant que la contradiction entre les chiffres 2023 et 2024 n'est pas expliquée clairement. Je crains que cela ne nuise à notre crédibilité si la question ressurgit plus tard.

Comme argument principal, je proposerais d'exiger un audit indépendant et des indicateurs publiés pour vérifier leurs méthodes. On pourrait aussi inclure une clause de pénalité et une obligation de réparation en cas d'informations erronées. En revanche, si ÉcoData accepte ces conditions et que l'audit confirme leurs données, le partenariat pourrait nous aider à respecter nos objectifs plus rapidement.

Deux questions à poser mardi : sur quoi se base exactement leur « compensation » (méthode et périmètre) ? Sont-ils prêts à accepter des pénalités contractuelles en cas de non-respect ?
