Time expressions in the past tense: zwykle, nagle...
Time expressions help you recognize a verb’s aspect, because they show whether an action was repetitive or lasted over time (imperfective aspect), or happened once and was completed (perfective aspect).
- We use the imperfective aspect when an action lasted for some time or was repeated in the past.
- We use the perfective aspect when an action was completed or when it was done only once.
