On site you will get a free city map, short walking routes and a list of tourist attractions. The staff will recommend museums and places where you can admire the panorama.
If you get lost as a tourist, ask for directions to the cathedral or the castle. At the point you can also buy souvenirs and a city guidebook. At weekends it can be crowded, so it is worth coming in the morning.

Polecam najpierw zobaczyć zamek, bo dziś jest spokojniej, a potem katedrę - są blisko Starego Miasta, gdzie kupisz pamiątki. Jeśli chcesz, napisz, przy jakim wejściu stoisz, to podam dokładniejsze wskazówki.
Hi Ania! If you’re by the Centrum metro, go out onto Marszałkowska Street through the main exit and walk north toward the Palace of Culture. That’s the area of the city center. The museum is about a 10–15 minute walk — you can walk toward Trzech Krzyży Square and then turn right.
I recommend seeing the castle first, because it’s calmer today, and then the cathedral — they’re close to the Old Town, where you’ll buy souvenirs. If you want, write which entrance you’re standing by and I’ll give more precise directions.
