For many everyday nouns, the locative plural is made with one clear signal:

• plural locative ending = -ach

How to use it in real sentences: the “trigger words”

You usually notice the locative because a word before it “demands” it.

• myśleć o (to think about) + locative
• rozmawiać o (to talk about) + locative
• pytać o (to ask about) + locative
• być w / na (to be in/at) + locative

“w” vs “na” with courses/classes: what to pay attention to

With activities like courses, classes, training sessions, Polish often prefers na (as in “attend”).

• na kursach, na zajęciach = at/in courses, at/in classes (attending)
• w szkole (in a school building) is very common, but you will also hear na in some contexts; follow the course/book model.

Same case (locative plural), only the preposition changes:

• w kursach → na kursach
• w zajęciach → na zajęciach

Tip: If you mean “I attend”, choose na. If you mean “inside a place/building”, w is often the safer choice.
