Mit dem Futur I drücken wir zukünftige Handlungen aus. Wir bilden die Zeit mit einer konjugierten Form von werden und dem Infinitiv eines Verbs.

(With the future tense I (Futur I), we express future actions. We form the tense with a conjugated form of werden and the infinitive of a verb.)

Exercise 2: Multiple Choice

Instruction: Choose the correct Futur I form that properly describes a future action.

1.
The verb is not in the infinitive here ('buy'); in Futur I, the verb must be in the infinitive ('kaufen').
In Futur I, the infinitive is used. Here, the past participle 'bought' is mistakenly used.
2.
'Downloaded' is the past participle and is not allowed in Futur I.
'Downloads' is present tense third person singular, but Futur I requires the infinitive.
3.
'Went' is the past tense and is not used in Futur I.
'Goes' is present tense; in Futur I, the infinitive must be used.
4.
'Ordered' is the past participle and not the infinitive used in Futur I.
'Orderedt' is not a correct form; Futur I requires the infinitive.
