For business trips, please check your luggage before you leave. You may take a laptop, important documents, and medication in your carry-on bag. Liquids may only be carried in small containers. Your suitcase must not be too heavy; weigh it at home. Pack heavy items at the bottom and roll T-shirts so they stay wrinkle-free.

Sometimes the suitcase fills up quickly, even though the trip only lasts two days. Even so, it’s worth using a checklist: don’t forget underwear, socks, a charger, and sunglasses. If you end up needing something while you’re away, you can often buy it at your destination. That way you’ll be better prepared and save time at the airport.

Flüssigkeiten im Handgepäck sind meist nur in kleinen Flaschen erlaubt (maximal 100 ml). Am besten packst du sie in einen durchsichtigen Beutel. Wenn du unsicher bist, lege Shampoo und Zahnpasta in den Koffer zum Aufgeben.

Den Laptop und das Ladekabel würde ich in den Rucksack legen, dann hast du schnellen Zugriff bei der Sicherheitskontrolle. Obwohl dein Handgepäck schon voll ist, kannst du Socken und Unterwäsche in kleine Lücken stecken, das spart Platz.

Liquids in your carry-on are usually only allowed in small containers (maximum 100 ml). It’s best to pack them in a clear, transparent bag. If you’re unsure, put shampoo and toothpaste in the suitcase you’re checking.

I’d put the laptop and charging cable in your backpack so you can access them quickly at the security checkpoint. Even though your carry-on is already full, you can tuck socks and underwear into small gaps—that saves space.
