Your safety is important to us. If you lose your wallet or ID while on holiday, please stay calm. First, think about where you last had the items. Ask at reception and at the lost-and-found office at the train station or airport. Bring a description of the items you have lost.

If your wallet was stolen, go to the police and file a report. The report is an important document that you will need later at the embassy. The German embassy can help you if your passport is missing. The staff will explain which forms you need to fill out. Keep all your documents in a safe place.
