Exercise 1: Language immersion

Am Bahnhof habe ich ein Streifenticket für die Stadt gekauft. (At the train station I bought a strip ticket for the city.)
Das Ticket kostet fünfzehn Euro und zwanzig Cent und man kann es zehnmal benutzen. (The ticket costs fifteen euros and twenty cents and can be used ten times.)
Für kurze Strecken braucht man nur einen Streifen. (For short journeys you only need one stripe.)
Mit dem Ticket konnte ich zwei Tage gut fahren. (With the ticket I was able to get around well for two days.)
Danach bin ich zu Freunden gegangen und habe dort traditionell gegessen. (After that I went to see friends and had a traditional meal there.)
Am nächsten Morgen bin ich zum Gärtnerplatz spaziert. (The next morning I walked to Gärtnerplatz.)
Dort habe ich in einem Café gefrühstückt und eine Pause gemacht. (There I had breakfast in a café and took a break.)

1. Leonard: Guten Tag, ich bin Tourist in der Stadt und habe nur einen Tag Zeit. (Good day. I'm a tourist in the city and I only have one day.)
2. Marie: Gern helfe ich Ihnen. Was möchten Sie in München besichtigen? (I'd be happy to help. What would you like to see in Munich?)
3. Leonard: Ich möchte unbedingt den Englischen Garten sehen. (I definitely want to see the English Garden.)
4. Marie: Den besuchen viele Gäste gerne, er ist sehr beliebt. (Many visitors like to go there; it's very popular.)
5. Leonard: Welche anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten können Sie empfehlen? (What other sights can you recommend?)
