Für Familien gibt es Bollerwagen zum Ausleihen und mehrere Imbissstände. Bleiben Sie bitte auf den Wegen und Sie die Tiere nicht. Fotografieren ist erlaubt, aber ohne Blitz bei nachtaktiven Tieren. Nach dem Besuch können Sie noch etwas : Der Park am Zooeingang ist gut für eine kurze Pause.
Planning a visit to Leipzig Zoo this weekend? The zoo has several themed areas: a tropical hall with a jungle, an area with a river, and a desert landscape. Popular animals include giraffes, elephants and monkeys. Many animals come from Africa or Asia. Tip: Come early — it’s quieter then.

For families, handcarts (Bollerwagen) are available to borrow and there are several snack stands. Please stay on the paths and do not feed the animals. Photography is allowed, but avoid using flash for nocturnal animals. After your visit you can still do something nearby: the park by the zoo entrance is a good place for a short break.
