En una comisión de investigación, un político es reprendido por el respeto debido a la institución después de calificar la sesión de "circo". Se plantean preguntas cerradas sobre posibles influencias y pagos en efectivo, que el acusado niega con firmeza. Ante la presión insiste en absoluto y afirma que todo se gestionó con factura. Además, el partido condena y anuncia medidas frente a conductas impropias.

Señor Sánchez, le recuerdo que esto es una comisión de investigación y merece respeto. (Mr. Sánchez, I remind you that this is an investigative committee and it deserves respect.)
Usted dice que es un circo, pero esa es su opinión. (You say it’s a circus, but that is your opinion.)
Se critica su actitud durante la sesión y se genera tensión. (Your attitude during the session is criticized and tension is created.)
¿Metió usted a su mujer en el rescate de Europa, sí o no? Por supuesto que no. (Did you involve your wife in the Europe bailout, yes or no? Of course not.)
No me deja responder, pero le digo que no. (You won’t let me answer, but I’m telling you no.)
Se le acusa de no decir la verdad y de evitar algunas preguntas. (You are accused of not telling the truth and of avoiding some questions.)
¿Se avergüenza usted de ciertas personas de su partido, sí o no? (Are you ashamed of certain people in your party, yes or no?)
Yo estoy respondiendo todas las preguntas que puedo. (I am answering all the questions I can.)
Se le pregunta si ha recibido dinero en efectivo en un sobre. (You are asked whether you have received cash in an envelope.)
Estoy convencido de que he gestionado gastos de forma regular y con factura. (I am convinced that I managed expenses in a regular way and with an invoice.)
