From: Marketing Management
Subject: Launch campaign - plan and compliance
For the launch of the new service we propose a mixed advertising campaign: ads on social media, posters in the premises, and leaflet drops in two neighborhoods. The target audience is professionals aged 30 to 50; before finalizing the creatives we will conduct a quick market study to get an idea of which offer attracts customers the most. The sales team will coordinate the distribution with the delivery company and will review the legal label on each piece.
In parallel, we must measure the impact: website visits, calls, and conversions by area. Attention to privacy: no personal data will be collected without explicit consent and retargeting will be limited to users who have clearly accepted it. If a customer requests to unsubscribe, the provider must be notified and the request must be recorded immediately; in the previous audit this point was handled painfully late and opportunities to win customers were lost.

Asunto: Campaña de lanzamiento - materiales y segmentación
Hola, Marta:
Gracias,
Lucía (Marketing)
Subject: Launch campaign - materials and segmentation
Hi, Marta:
For the launch of the new line we already have the market research and an initial idea of the target audience. The agency is proposing an advertising campaign with window displays, a banner on the street, and mailbox drops with a coupon. They also ask to use our customer database to send a promo by email and measure the impact.
Does the mailbox drop seem okay to you or would you prefer something more digital? And about the data: can we use it as is, or do we have to notify/limit the mailing?
Thanks,

Marta
Hi, Lucía:
Thanks for the summary. I would keep the mailbox drop, but in a more selective way: only in the areas where the market research indicates a higher likelihood of purchase. That way we reduce spending and avoid overwhelming people who aren’t our target audience. I would complement it with ads on social media and a landing page so that anyone who receives the leaflet can get more information.
Regarding the database, I wouldn’t use it “as is”. First we would have to review consent and send only to contacts who have agreed to receive marketing communications. Also, in the email I would include a clearly visible unsubscribe option and a short text explaining what the data is used for.
If you agree, to measure the impact: a different coupon for the mailbox drop, another code for social media, and tracking of visits to the landing page and sales by channel.
Best regards,
Marta
