Hola, Laura. Soy Dani.
Hi, Laura. It's Dani.
Are you still up for going to the match on Saturday at the stadium? Last Sunday we ended in a draw (1-1) and the coach said the team “competed well,” but we lacked finishing at the end.
I can buy the tickets today. As long as we arrive with time, I'd like to watch the warm-up. Shall we meet at 18:15 at gate 3? I'll bring a rain jacket in case the weather changes.
Useful phrases:
-
Confirmo que… y, siempre que…, me viene bien…
(I confirm that… and, as long as…, that works for me…)
-
Por si…, propongo que…
(In case…, I suggest that…)
-
Si te parece, después del partido podemos…
(If you like, after the match we can…)
Hi, Dani! Yes, I'd love to go. Please buy my ticket too. The draw on Sunday left me with mixed feelings: the team defended well, but we missed a lot in the final minutes.
18:15 at gate 3 is perfect for me and, as long as there aren't long lines, I'll stay to watch the warm-up with you. In case it rains or access becomes difficult, I suggest meeting at the bar across the street (the one next to the metro stop) and going in from there.
If we win, do you want to grab a drink afterward near the stadium?
