Thanks for your message. For a terrace with afternoon sun, hardy shrubs in pots and a climbing plant to provide shade usually work well. If you tell us the approximate size of the planters and whether it’s exposed to wind, we can suggest 2–3 options.

We also offer a transplant service at home (Madrid). Are the plants you have starting to bud, or do they look rather withered? If you can, send us a photo and we’ll confirm availability for this week.

Gracias por la respuesta. La terraza tiene sol desde las 15:00 y suele soplar bastante viento. Tengo dos jardineras de 80 cm y una celosía donde podría colocar una trepadora. Me interesa una solución resistente y de crecimiento moderado, que requiera poco mantenimiento.

De las plantas actuales, una está empezando a brotar; la otra está decaída y tiene hojas amarillentas. Te adjunto fotos. ¿Podrías indicarme un precio orientativo para el trasplante a domicilio y si tendríais hueco el jueves o el viernes por la tarde?

Hi Javier,

Thanks for your reply. The terrace gets sun from 3:00 p.m. and it’s usually quite windy. I have two 80 cm planters and a trellis where I could put a climber. I’m looking for a hardy solution with moderate growth that requires little maintenance.

Of my current plants, one is starting to bud; the other is withered and has yellowing leaves. I’ve attached photos. Could you give me an estimated price for the home transplant and let me know if you have availability on Thursday or Friday afternoon?
