Este fin de semana el club de surf del refuerza el servicio de alquiler por previsión de viento. Para entrar al agua es obligatorio llevar en las clases de iniciación y respetar la señalización: con se permite surfear; con solo se recomienda a personas con experiencia; con queda prohibido.

This weekend the surf club on the seafront promenade is strengthening the rental service due to a wind forecast. To enter the water it is mandatory to wear a life jacket in beginner classes and to respect the signage: with a green flag surfing is allowed; with a yellow flag it is only recommended for people with experience; with a red flag it is prohibited.

The lifeguard station reminds everyone that equipment must be returned at the shoreline, without dragging it over the sand. The club advises staying hydrated and using sunscreen to avoid burning your shoulders. Instructions will be followed as indicated by the beach coordinator, even if the report changes at the last minute, and access will be organized as established by the security staff.

Esta mañana en el club de surf nos dieron el briefing de seguridad antes de alquilar una tabla. En la orilla del mar había una bandera amarilla, así que solo podíamos entrar cerca del puesto de socorro y usar chaleco salvavidas si íbamos más allá de la zona de baño. Nos avisaron de que en el estrecho suele haber corriente y que hoy el viento cambiaría al mediodía. Después, junto al paseo marítimo a la derecha, empieza la zona nudista, y nos pidieron no cruzarla con el material. Si alguien se cansa, es mejor usar el flotador y volver sin prisas.

Hi, Dani. Thanks for letting me know. Tomorrow I can attend, but if the yellow flag remains up and there are currents near the lifeguard station, I’d prefer to stay in the area next to the seafront promenade and follow your instructions for getting out of the water.

I need to rent a 7'6 board and a life jacket; the float isn’t necessary. As you say in the briefing, I will follow the lifeguard’s instructions.

Let me know at 20:00 if you’re moving it half an hour earlier or if it’s canceled so I can rearrange transport. Thanks.
