La semana pasada me entregaron la carta de despido y desde entonces estoy organizándolo todo. Hoy he pedido cita en el INEM para darme de alta como demandante y tramitar el subsidio de desempleo, porque quiero evitar quedarme sin ingresos. En la empresa me han confirmado que me corresponde una indemnización, pero todavía no han dicho cuándo la pagarán. Tengo dos consultas: 1) La empresa me entregó la carta de despido y el certificado de empresa, pero mi vida laboral aún no está actualizada. ¿Es imprescindible llevar el justificante de cotización ese día o ustedes pueden consultarlo electrónicamente? 2) Estoy pendiente de cobrar la indemnización por despido. ¿Eso impide iniciar la solicitud del subsidio o puedo tramitarlo igualmente?

I have two questions: 1) The company gave me the dismissal letter and the employer certificate, but my work history is not yet updated. Is it essential to bring the proof of contributions that day, or can you check it electronically? 2) I am awaiting receipt of the severance payment for dismissal. Does that prevent me from starting the subsidy application, or can I apply anyway?
