Hay dos tipos de equipaje para viajar en avión: el que facturas y va en la bodega, y el que llevas contigo en la cabina. (There are two types of luggage when traveling by plane: what you check in and what you take with you in the cabin.)
El equipaje que llevas en la cabina se llama equipaje de mano y tiene unas medidas y un peso máximos. (The luggage you take into the cabin is called carry-on luggage, and it has maximum size and weight limits.)
Puedes encontrarte con tres situaciones diferentes al viajar. (When you travel, you may run into three different situations.)
La primera es que solo te dejen llevar un bolso o una mochila con medidas máximas de cuarenta por treinta por quince centímetros. (The first is that you're only allowed to bring a bag or a backpack, with maximum dimensions of 40 × 30 × 15 centimeters.)
La segunda es que te dejen llevar solo una maleta pequeña con medidas máximas de cincuenta y cinco por cuarenta y cinco por veinticinco centímetros. (The second is that you're only allowed to bring a small suitcase, with maximum dimensions of 55 × 45 × 25 centimeters.)
La tercera es que te dejen llevar un bolso y una maleta pequeña juntos. (The third is that you're allowed to bring a bag and a small suitcase together.)
El equipaje de mano no debe pesar más de siete o diez kilos, según la aerolínea y la clase de viaje. (Carry-on luggage must not weigh more than 7 or 10 kilos, depending on the airline and your travel class.)
Cuando estás en el avión, debes guardar el bolso debajo del asiento y la maleta pequeña en el compartimento de arriba. (When you're on the plane, you must stow the bag under the seat and the small suitcase in the overhead compartment.)
Recuerda que no está permitido llevar objetos peligrosos ni líquidos que superen los cien mililitros. (Remember that you are not allowed to bring dangerous items or liquids over 100 milliliters.)
Las maletas facturadas pueden romperse; por eso no debes poner objetos frágiles dentro de ellas. (Checked suitcases can get damaged; that's why you shouldn't put fragile items inside them.)

1. Víctor: ¿Está lista la presentación para mañana? (Is the presentation ready for tomorrow?)
2. Marina: Sí, acabo de terminarla. Te la voy a enviar ahora, para que tú también tengas una copia. (Yes, I just finished it. I'm going to send it to you now, so that you also have a copy.)
3. Víctor: Perfecto, Marina, gracias. La reviso esta tarde. La empresa nos ha comprado billetes en clase económica. (Perfect, Marina, thanks. I'll review it this afternoon. The company has bought us economy class tickets.)
4. Marina: ¿Viajamos solo con equipaje de mano? (Are we traveling with carry-on luggage only?)
