Exercise 1: Word bingo

1. Juán: ¿Has traído el ajedrez? Hace tiempo que no jugamos. (Have you brought the chess?)
2. Sofía: Sí, y también he traído algunos juegos de mesa para jugar después. (Yes, and I have also brought some board games in case we want to play later.)
3. Juán: Perfecto. Yo voy a preparar la tortilla de patatas antes de que lleguen los demás. (Perfect. I'm going to prepare the Spanish omelette before the others arrive.)
4. Sofía: He traído cava para brindar luego. (Okay, you make the omelette and I have brought cava to toast later.)
5. Juán: ¡Qué bien! Ya he puesto los platos en la mesa y he encendido unas velas. (How nice! I've already set the plates on the table and lit some candles.)
6. Sofía: Genial. Voy a dejar el ramo de flores en la cocina, huele muy bien. (Great. I'm going to leave the bouquet of flowers in the kitchen, it smells very good.)
7. Juán: Pongamos algo de picar mientras se hace la tortilla? (Do you want us to put something to nibble on while the omelette is cooking?)
8. Sofía: Sí, y después podemos jugar a las cartas, como en las noches de verano. (Yes, and afterwards we can play cards, like on the summer nights before.)
9. Juán: Me acuerdo de lo competitivos que éramos... nos poníamos muy contentos cuando ganábamos. (I remember how competitive we were... we got very happy when we won.)
10. Sofía: Y alguno siempre hacía trampa, pero no diré nombres. (And someone always cheated, but I won't name names.)
11. Juán: Ya nos conocemos todos. ¿Has preguntado a los demás si quieren salir después o quedarse aquí? (We all know each other. Have you asked the others if they want to go out afterwards or stay here?)
12. Sofía: Todos prefieren pasar la noche en casa. (Everyone prefers to spend the night at home.)
