In case of emergency, follow these recommendations when calling 112.

Exercise 1: Word bingo

Instruction: 1. Listen minimum two times to the video and indicate the words you hear. 2. Use the words to form a conversation with your teacher (write down your conversation). 3. Memorize the words with the word trainer.

2. Emma: Hola, buenas tardes. Ha ocurrido un accidente en la carretera. (Hello, good afternoon. An accident has occurred on the road.)
3. Operador: ¿En qué carretera está? (Which road is it on?)
4. Emma: En la M-40, en dirección a la carretera de Extremadura. (On the M-40, in the direction of the Extremadura road.)
5. Operador: ¿En qué kilómetro, por favor? (At what kilometer, please?)
6. Emma: En el kilómetro 41, cerca de los túneles de El Pardo. (At kilometer 41, near the El Pardo tunnels.)
7. Operador: De acuerdo. Por favor, déme su número de teléfono en caso de que se corte la llamada. (Alright. Please give me your phone number in case the call gets disconnected.)
8. Emma: Sí, claro, es el 678 123 456. (Yes, of course, it is 678 123 456.)
9. Operador: Perfecto. ¿Hay personas heridas en el coche? (Perfect. Are there any injured people in the car?)
10. Emma: Sí, hay dos personas atrapadas. (Yes, there are two people trapped.)
