This Sunday the campus staff club is proposing a short excursion through the Sierra de Madrid. The route starts in a wood near Cercedilla and follows an easy path alongside a river with clear water. Afterwards we climb a little up to a viewpoint with a very nice view of the mountain .

The excursion lasts about three hours. It is important to wear light hiking boots and comfortable clothes . It's also a good idea to bring water and some fruit. The route isn't difficult, but it's not a good idea to go without eating or drinking anything. At the end of the walk we rest for half an hour beside a small lake before returning to the village by train.
