Carlos es ingeniero y vive en Alemania, pero la próxima semana tiene una conferencia en Madrid. La organización le recomienda un hotel cerca del centro de congresos.

The organizers recommend a hotel near the conference centre.
Carlos visits the hotel's website and makes a reservation for three nights. He wants a quiet room to work in during the evenings. At first he looks for bed and breakfast , but he sees that half board is not much more expensive. He thinks it's better to eat dinner at the hotel after the conference, because it always finishes late.
On the online form the hotel offers a single room or a double room . Carlos is travelling alone, but he prefers the double because it is more comfortable for resting and reading. He also chooses free cancellation , since his flight may change.
When he confirms the reservation, the system shows him a booking number and a message: “Breakfast is included . You will shortly receive a confirmation email.” Carlos saves the email in a special travel folder on his computer.
