1. Álvaro: ¿Has visto lo de la huelga esta mañana? (Did you see the news about the strike this morning?)
2. Cristina: Sí, lo vi en las noticias mientras desayunaba en casa. (Yes, I saw it on the news while I was having breakfast at home.)
3. Álvaro: Hoy tardé casi una hora en llegar al trabajo. (Today it took me almost an hour to get to work.)
4. Cristina: No pude subir al metro porque iba completamente lleno. (I couldn't get on the subway because it was completely full.)
5. Álvaro: Por suerte llamé al trabajo para avisar de que llegaba tarde y no pasó nada. (Luckily, I called work to let them know I was going to be late and nothing happened.)
6. Cristina: La verdad es que estoy un poco preocupada por mañana. (The truth is I'm a bit worried about tomorrow.)
7. Álvaro: Yo también. Dicen que la huelga continúa otro día más. (Me too. They say the strike continues for one more day.)
8. Cristina: Espero que mañana haya más transporte funcionando. (I hope there will be more transport running tomorrow.)
9. Álvaro: Ojalá, porque hoy fue un caos total. (Hopefully, because today was total chaos.)
