¿Viste las noticias esta mañana en la televisión? En TVE hablaron de la huelga del metro y de los autobuses.
Yo llegué muy tarde al trabajo. Normalmente tardo 20 minutos, pero hoy tardé casi una hora. Había muchísima gente y los trenes pasaron menos veces.
¿Tú cómo llegaste al trabajo? ¿Te afectó la huelga? Estoy un poco preocupado por mañana, dicen que sigue.

Did you see the news this morning on TV? On TVE they talked about the strike on the metro and buses.
I arrived very late to work. I normally take 20 minutes, but today it took me almost an hour. There were lots of people and the trains ran less often.
How did you get to work? Did the strike affect you? I’m a bit worried about tomorrow; they say it will continue.
