Andrés es ingeniero y vive en Madrid desde hace un año. Ahora está y quiere buscar un nuevo en una empresa internacional.
Un sábado por la mañana enciende el ordenador y entra en un portal de empleo. Primero crea su : escribe sus estudios, sus certificados y diplomas, y su experiencia profesional. También indica que gestión de proyectos y en trabajo en equipo.
Después prepara su . Lo guarda en formato PDF y escribe una corta. En el texto explica por qué le interesa un a tiempo completo y por qué es una persona y puntual.
Cuando termina, busca en el portal. Lee una oferta de asistente de proyectos en una empresa de tecnología. La descripción exige buen nivel de inglés y experiencia en oficinas internacionales. La oferta le gusta y decide aplicar.
Andrés envía su candidatura desde el portal: adjunta el currículum, la carta de presentación y completa un pequeño formulario. Finalmente cierra el ordenador y piensa: “Hoy he dado un paso importante para encontrar trabajo en España”.Andrés is an engineer and has lived in Madrid for one year. He is currently unemployed and wants to find a new job at an international company.
One Saturday morning he turns on his computer and visits a job portal. First he creates his profile: he lists his education, certificates and diplomas, and his work experience. He also indicates that he has experience in project management and working in teams.
Next he prepares his résumé. He saves it as a PDF and writes a short cover letter. In the letter he explains why he is interested in a full-time position and why he is an organized and punctual person.
When he finishes, he looks for job postings on the portal. He reads a posting for a project assistant at a technology company. The description requires a good level of English and experience with international offices. He likes the posting and decides to apply.
Andrés sends his application through the portal: he attaches the résumé and the cover letter and completes a short form. Finally he closes the computer and thinks: “Today I have taken an important step toward finding a job in Spain.”
