On the office noticeboard there is a poster about the emergency telephone number 112. It explains that you should call only when there is a serious accident, a fire, or a major medical problem. The poster says the call is free and the service is available 24 hours a day. It also reminds you not to hang up while the operator is asking questions.

The poster shows icons for the police, the firefighters and the ambulance. Below, there are tips: first, give the exact address; second, explain what is happening; third, say whether anyone is injured. At the end, the poster recommends keeping a small first-aid kit in the office and at home for minor emergencies, for example a cut or a headache.
