Garden centre GroenVandaag has a promotion on houseplants and garden plants this week. At the entrance there are large tables with green plants for indoors and small trees for the garden. A sign reads: "Give your plants one or two times a week water. Do not place houseplants in direct sunlight."

On another table there are bags of potting soil and a small leaflet. The leaflet says: "Use good soil when you buy new plants. Spring is a good time to sow new flowers in the garden. Water the plants if it is very dry in summer. A gardener in the shop can help you with questions about plants and their care."
