Two friends arrive at a tiny house on Texel. They quickly discover that everything is multifunctional – and a bit cramped.
1. Sam: Kun je de deur openen? (Can you open the door?)
2. Lieke: Oké, ik moet eerst over de bank en de kast stappen. (Okay, I have to step over the couch and the cupboard first.)
3. Sam: Ik struikel bijna over de stoel. Waarom staat die zo dicht bij de tafel? (I almost trip over the chair. Why is it standing so close to the table?)
4. Lieke: Ik denk dat de lamp anders niet in de woonkamer past. (I think the lamp wouldn't fit in the living room otherwise.)
5. Sam: Serieus? Nou ja, ik sluit de deur, dan kan ik naar de keuken. (Seriously? Well, I'll close the door, then I can go to the kitchen.)
6. Lieke: Hé, het raam boven het bed staat open. Voel je dat? (Hey, the window above the bed is open. Do you feel that?)
7. Sam: Oh nee, doe het raam dicht! Het bed ligt anders vol zand. (Oh no, close the window! Otherwise, the bed will get full of sand.)
8. Lieke: Waar heb je mijn tas gezet? (Where did you put my bag?)
9. Sam: In het toilet, hier was geen plek! (In the toilet, there was no space here!)
10. Lieke: Jeetje, en hier moeten we twee weken zitten? (Wow, and we have to sit here for two weeks?)
