A customer buys apples at the Albert Cuyp Market and discusses the price, discount and payment method with the stallholder.
1. Klant: Goedemorgen! Hoeveel kosten de appels hier? (Good morning! How much do the apples cost here?)
2. Markthouder: Goedemorgen! De appels kosten drie euro vijftig per kilo. (Good morning! The apples cost three euros fifty per kilo.)
3. Klant: Dat is goedkoop. Ik wil graag twee kilo kopen. (That is cheap. I would like to buy two kilos.)
4. Markthouder: Natuurlijk. Wilt u contant betalen of met pinpas? (Of course. Would you like to pay cash or by debit card?)
5. Klant: Ik betaal contant. Ik heb genoeg geld in mijn portemonnee. (I pay cash. I have enough money in my wallet.)
6. Markthouder: Prima. Er is ook korting op de tweede kilo. (Fine. There is also a discount on the second kilo.)
7. Klant: Dat is fijn. Geef mij dan vier kilo in totaal. (That's nice. Then give me four kilos in total.)
8. Markthouder: Dat kost veertien euro vijftig. (That costs fourteen euros fifty.)
