Afgelopen weekend ik met collega’s in eetcafé De Markt. Het licht in het restaurant is en de sfeer is rustig. We hoorden geen muziek, alleen wat van andere tafels. Dat is fijn na een drukke werkdag.

Ik tomatensoep en een kleine salade. De soep was lekker en een beetje . De salade was fris, maar de kaas was erg en iets . Mijn collega nam een toetje. Hij vond zijn toetje dan mijn salade. Ik vond de koffie het : sterk, warm en met een heerlijke geur.
Last weekend I ate with colleagues at eetcafé De Markt. The light in the restaurant was soft and the atmosphere was calm. We didn't hear loud music, only some sounds from other tables. That was nice after a busy workday.

I ordered tomato soup and a small salad. The soup was pleasantly salty and a bit sour. The salad was fresh, but the cheese was very salty and slightly bitter. My colleague had a sweet dessert. He liked his dessert more than my salad. I liked the coffee best: strong, warm and with a lovely aroma.
