Veel mensen in Nederland reizen met de naar hun werk. Op Utrecht Centraal zie je elke dag veel reizigers. Ze komen met de naar het station en zetten de fiets in de stalling. Daarna lopen ze het perron. De trein door de stad en stopt op verschillende stations.

Op een bord staat: “Intercity van Amsterdam Utrecht.” De trein komt om 8.15 uur en vertrekt om 8.18 uur. Je kunt een kopen bij een automaat of via een app op je telefoon. Met een ga je van Amsterdam naar Utrecht en later weer terug. In de trein kun je zitten, een boek lezen of op je werken.
Many people in the Netherlands travel to work by train. At Utrecht Central you see many passengers every day. They cycle to the station and leave their bikes in the bike parking. After that they walk to the platform. The train goes through the city and stops at several stations.

A sign reads: “Intercity from Amsterdam to Utrecht.” The train arrives at 8:15 and departs at 8:18. You can buy a ticket at a ticket machine or via an app on your phone. With a return ticket you travel from Amsterdam to Utrecht and later back again. On the train you can sit, read a book or work on your laptop.
