In Italy, there are 16 million pensioners, a number equal to 27% of the total population. This is one of the highest values in the European Union.

1. Figlio: Mamma, manca poco alla tua pensione. Come ti senti? (Mom, your retirement is coming up soon. How do you feel?)
2. Madre: Sì, è vero. Sono emozionata e un po' preoccupata. Dopo tanti anni di lavoro non so bene cosa fare. (Yes, it's true. I'm excited and a little worried. After so many years of work I don't really know what to do.)
3. Figlio: Hai già pensato a cosa farai con tutto questo tempo libero? (Have you already thought about what you'll do with all this free time?)
