At the public library you can get a membership card in a few minutes by presenting an ID and your tax code. With the card you can borrow up to 5 books and 2 magazines. Loans last 30 days; you can renew once, if the book is not reserved by someone else. To return a book, use the lending desk or the external drop box (open until 22:00).

Are you looking for a title for work or study? You can search the online catalog by author, title, or subject (for example, Italian literature). In the library you'll also find dictionaries and a classics section. If you need help, ask the staff: you can say what kind of story you prefer (a novel, a biography, a fairy tale, or a poem) and whether you want something exciting or more gentle.
