Exercise 1: Match a word

Instruction: Match the items that have a related meaning.

prestare un libro — dare in prestito un libro (to lend a book — to lend someone a book)
restituire un libro — riportare il libro (to return a book — to bring the book back)

Biblioteca comunale: per serve un documento e un indirizzo email. La tessera è gratuita e permette di prendere in fino a 5 libri per 30 giorni; si può una volta online. Se un libro è già prestato, puoi dal catalogo.

Cerchi un autore o un titolo? Alla postazione “ ” trovi il catalogo per temae per scaffale. Per una ricerca universitaria è disponibile anche il italiano e alcune riviste; in sala lettura è richiesto .
Municipal library: to register you need an ID and an email address. The library card is free and lets you borrow up to five books for 30 days; loans can be renewed once online. If a book is already on loan, you can reserve it through the catalog.

Looking for an author or a title? At the “Search” terminal you can browse the catalog by theme (novel, biography, poetry) and by shelf. For university research, the Italian dictionary and some journals are also available; silence is required in the reading room.
