Eine häufige Frage im Vorstellungsgespräch ist, warum du dich für diese Stelle beworben hast. (A common question in a job interview is why you applied for this position.)
Die Frage will wissen, ob du dich gut über das Unternehmen informiert hast oder ob du es einfach mal versuchst. (The question wants to know whether you have informed yourself well about the company or whether you are just giving it a try.)
Eine gute Antwort könnte sein: „Ich möchte als Landschaftsgärtner bei Ihnen arbeiten, weil ich in der Natur arbeite und mich dort wohlfühle.“ (A good answer could be: “I would like to work for you as a landscape gardener because I work in nature and feel comfortable there.”)
Eine weitere Frage ist, wo du dich in fünf Jahren siehst. (Another question is where you see yourself in five years.)
Die Frage soll zeigen, ob du die Firma nur als Sprungbrett siehst oder langfristig bleiben möchtest. (The question is meant to show whether you see the company only as a springboard or whether you would like to stay long-term.)
Statt zu sagen, dass du schnell aufsteigen willst, sag lieber: „In fünf Jahren möchte ich der Ansprechpartner für alle Probleme im Unternehmen sein.“ (Instead of saying that you want to move up quickly, it is better to say: “In five years, I want to be the contact person for all problems in the company.”)
Eine weitere Frage ist, was deine größten Schwächen sind. (Another question is what your biggest weaknesses are.)
Hier will man wissen, ob du zur Selbstreflexion fähig bist. (Here they want to know whether you are capable of self-reflection.)
Eine gute Antwort könnte sein: „Ich bin nervös, wenn ich vor Publikum spreche. Ich habe ein Coaching gebucht, um besser zu werden.“ (A good answer could be: “I get nervous when I speak in front of an audience. I booked coaching to get better.”)
Es geht darum, authentisch zu sein und deine Antwort zu begründen. (It’s about being authentic and justifying your answer.)
