(Short report from the university laboratory: test run and safety)

Im Labor der Fakultät wurden heute Zellproben für eine Studie vorbereitet. Die Proben wurden beschriftet und im erfasst. Die Analyse läuft nach einer festen Methode; die Daten lassen sich später im System vergleichen. Die Laborleitung den Ablauf und regelmäßig die Temperatur, damit nichts verunreinigt wird.

Achtung: Einige Reagenzien sind und es besteht Brandgefahr. Materialien mit müssen getrennt gelagert werden. Metallbehälter dürfen nur unter der Aufsicht von geschultem Personal geöffnet werden. Wenn ein Gerät ungewöhnlich warm wird, lässt sich der Versuch sofort stoppen und der Sicherheitsdienst wird informiert.
In the faculty laboratory, cell samples were prepared today for a study. The samples were labeled sterilely and recorded electronically in the log. The analysis follows a fixed method; the data can be compared later in the system. The lab management supervises the process and regularly measures the temperature so that nothing becomes contaminated.

Warning: Some reagents are toxic and there is a fire risk. Materials with a chemical symbol must be stored separately. Metal containers may only be opened under the supervision of trained personnel. If a device becomes unusually warm, the experiment can be stopped immediately and the security service will be informed.

Hallo Miriam,

ja, das klappt. Ich stelle alle drei Proben bis 14:45 Uhr im Kühlraum B-214 bereit. Ich kontrolliere vorher die Beschriftungen und ob die Gefäße sauber und dicht sind.

Zu den Hinweisen: Probe 2 ist bei uns ebenfalls als giftig markiert. Ich lege sie in einen zweiten Sicherheitsbehälter und bringe den Warnhinweis gut sichtbar an. Bei Probe 3 (Brandgefahr) sorge ich dafür, dass sie getrennt gelagert wird und nicht neben Lösungsmitteln steht. So lassen sich die Proben sicher transportieren.

Benötigt ihr für die Übergabe eine Unterschrift im Protokoll?

yes, that works. I will have all three samples ready by 14:45 in cold room B-214. Before that, I will check the labels and whether the containers are clean and sealed.

Regarding the notes: Sample 2 is also marked as toxic on our side. I will place it in a second safety container and attach the warning notice clearly visible. For sample 3 (fire hazard), I will ensure it is stored separately and not placed next to solvents. This way the samples can be transported safely.

Do you need a signature in the protocol for the handover?
