Bei einer Hochzeit kann man viel Geld sparen, besonders beim Essen. (At a wedding you can save a lot of money, especially on food.)
Plant lieber ein Buffet statt eines Menüs - das spart Personal und ist entspannter. (It’s better to plan a buffet instead of a menu - that saves staff and is more relaxed.)
Ihr könnt Snacks selbst machen oder Freunde bitten, etwas mitzubringen. (You can make snacks yourselves or ask friends to bring something.)
Eine Idee ist ein Sektempfang am Mittag und ein kleines Abendessen. (One idea is a champagne reception at midday and a small dinner.)
Wenn ihr am Nachmittag heiratet, spart ihr das Mittagessen und den Kuchen. (If you get married in the afternoon, you save on lunch and cake.)
Bei der Hochzeitstorte könnt ihr sparen, indem ihr kleine Desserts statt einer großen Torte nehmt. (You can save on the wedding cake by having small desserts instead of one big cake.)
Vielleicht kann auch ein Freund die Torte backen. (Maybe a friend can also bake the cake.)
Für die Deko eignen sich günstige Blumen, Naturmaterialien oder gebrauchte Blumendeko. (For the decorations, inexpensive flowers, natural materials, or used floral decorations are suitable.)
Auch Kerzen oder sehr einfache Dekoration sind eine gute Alternative. (Candles or very simple decorations are also a good alternative.)
Bei der Musik könnt ihr Freunde fragen oder einen DJ nur für kurze Zeit buchen. (For the music, you can ask friends or book a DJ only for a short time.)
