Ein Arbeitsvertrag ist die Basis für mein Arbeitsleben. (An employment contract is the basis for my working life.)
Dort steht, was ich machen muss und was der Arbeitgeber tun muss, z. B. mich bezahlen. (It states what I have to do and what the employer has to do, e.g. pay me.)
Wichtige Punkte sind: Wer ist Arbeitnehmer und wer ist Arbeitgeber? (Important points are: Who is the employee and who is the employer?)
Auch meine Tätigkeit, Arbeitszeit und mein Gehalt müssen im Vertrag stehen. (My job duties, working hours and my salary also have to be in the contract.)
Zusätzlich stehen oft der Beginn des Jobs und bei befristeten Verträgen das Ende im Vertrag. (In addition, the start of the job and, in the case of fixed-term contracts, the end are often included in the contract.)
Auch Arbeitsort, Probezeit, Kündigungsfrist und Urlaubstage sind wichtig. (The workplace, probation period, notice period and vacation days are also important.)

URL: Arbeitsschutz in Deutschland

Arbeitsschutz bedeutet: In einem Betrieb sollen Beschäftigte vor Gefahren geschützt werden, die bei der Arbeit entstehen. Das Ziel ist, Leben und Gesundheit zu schützen. Im Betrieb ist vor allem der Arbeitgeber verantwortlich und muss Regeln einhalten und kontrollieren.

Die Regeln stehen in verschiedenen Gesetzen und Verordnungen und auch in Vorschriften der Berufsgenossenschaften. Diese Regeln sind verbindlich. Das heißt: Nicht nur Arbeitgeber, sondern auch Arbeitnehmer müssen sich daran halten.

Typische Vorschriften sind zum Beispiel das Arbeitsschutzgesetz und das Arbeitszeitgesetz. Es gibt auch spezielle Regeln für Gefahrstoffe oder Baustellen. In der Praxis muss man oft Schutzkleidung tragen oder bestimmte Arbeitszeiten einhalten, damit Unfälle vermieden werden.
