Many practices offer a health check in spring. During this, blood pressure and temperature are measured and blood is taken if necessary. The doctor also examines the abdomen, chest and skin in order to detect inflammation early. Anyone who sits a lot at a desk should pay attention not only to their back, but also to their joints and muscles.

For an appointment, please bring your vaccination records with you. If you have had pain in your leg or wrist for a longer time, make a note of it beforehand. At the practice you clarify whether you should get vaccinated or first have further examinations. If you have questions about the heart, lungs, liver or kidneys, write them down briefly so that nothing is forgotten during the consultation.

Seit ein paar Tagen habe ich Schmerzen im Bein, vor allem am Knöchel und im Kniegelenk. Gestern war ich deshalb beim Arzt. Er hat zuerst meinen Blutdruck kontrolliert und die Temperatur gemessen. Dann hat er gefragt, ob ich genug trinke, weil Nieren und Leber viel arbeiten. Zum Glück ist nichts gebrochen, also kein Knochenbruch. Er meint, wahrscheinlich ist ein Muskel überlastet. Ich soll beim Sport Bauch und Taille besser stabilisieren und in einer Woche wiederkommen, wenn es nicht besser wird.
