Een schrijver en boekenliefhebber ontmoeten elkaar in de boekhandel tijdens de Boekenweek

A writer and book lover meet each other in the bookstore during Book Week
1. Klaas: Ben jij ook hier in de boekhandel vanwege de Boekenweek? (Are you also here in the bookstore because of Book Week?)
2. Julia: Ja, dat wil ik niet missen. Het is echt een feest voor boeken en het thema dit jaar is heel interessant. (Yes, I don’t want to miss that. It really is a celebration of books and the theme this year is very interesting.)
3. Klaas: Het thema 'Tweestrijd', ja. Dat vind ik ook. En je krijgt het Boekenweekgeschenk cadeau als je een paar boeken koopt. (The theme ‘Inner conflict’, yes. I think so too. And you get the Book Week gift for free if you buy a few books.)
4. Julia: Oh ja, ik zag het! Ben jij ook een boekenliefhebber? (Oh yes, I saw it! Are you a book lover too?)
5. Klaas: Ja. Ik ben schrijver en ik heb net een nieuwe roman geschreven. (Yes. I’m a writer and I’ve just written a new novel.)

7. Klaas: Het is een roman over keuzes en conflicten. Dat past bij het thema 'Tweestrijd'. (It’s a novel about choices and conflicts. That fits with the theme ‘Inner conflict’.)
8. Julia: Dat klinkt spannend! Waar kan ik je boek lenen of vinden? (That sounds exciting! Where can I borrow or find your book?)
9. Klaas: Je kunt het lenen bij de bibliotheek of hier in de boekwinkel kopen. Het is dat grote rode boek daar. (You can borrow it at the library or buy it here in the bookstore. It’s that big red book over there.)
10. Julia: Ik was net gedichten aan het bekijken, maar ik ga er zeker naar kijken. (I was just looking at poems, but I’m definitely going to take a look at it.)
11. Klaas: Gedichten zijn altijd mooi om te lezen, vooral in de Boekenweek. Leuk je te ontmoeten. (Poems are always beautiful to read, especially during Book Week. Nice to meet you.)

Bibliotheek Lek & IJssel heeft een grote collectie met boeken voor volwassenen en voor jeugd. Je kunt er ook e-books en luisterboeken lenen via de online Bibliotheek. Op de site staan nieuws, nieuwe boeken en een agenda met activiteiten.

Wil je boeken lenen? Dan kun je lid worden en daarna inloggen bij “Mijn bibliotheek”. Kinderen tot en met 17 jaar zijn gratis lid. Je ziet de openingstijden vandaag van vestigingen zoals IJsselstein, Houten-Centrum en Lopik. Soms is een bibliotheekpunt gesloten. Als ik vandaag tijd had, zou ik naar de bibliotheek gaan en een roman lenen. Als ik thuis wil lezen, zou ik een luisterboek kiezen.
