Bij de VVV in Volendam krijgt u gratis een . De medewerker wijst een korte door het centrum aan. Onderweg ziet u de en een oud bij de haven. De route is rustig en geschikt als u met kinderen reist.

Let op: voor de boot naar Marken is de laatste check-in om 16.15 uur. Taxi's mogen niet op de dijk , maar bij de parkeerplaats. Heeft u al online tickets ? Neem dan uw bevestiging mee. Bij vragen kunt u aan de terecht.
At the tourist information office (VVV) in Volendam you will receive a free map. The staff member points out a short walk through the town center. Along the way you will see the church and an old monument by the harbor. The route is quiet and suitable if you are traveling with children.

Please note: for the boat to Marken, the last check-in is at 16:15. Taxis are not allowed to stand on the dike, but at the parking lot. Have you already bought tickets online? Then bring your confirmation with you. If you have questions, you can go to the counter.

Op de kaart zie ik een oude kerk en een bekend monument op het plein. Ik houd van foto’s maken, dus ik wil daar even stoppen. Daarna ga ik verder en raadpleeg ik de kaart opnieuw. Als ik te moe ben, neem ik een taxi terug naar het hotel. Het monument staat vlak bij het water.

Ik heb net op de kaart gekeken. Volgens mij is het centrum ongeveer 15 minuten lopen vanaf het station. Zullen we eerst naar het toeristenbureau lopen en daar een plattegrond halen? Daarna maken we een wandeling langs de kerk en het monument en kunnen we foto’s maken.

Kun jij even op Google kijken of het toeristenbureau vandaag open is? Als het regent of als we haast hebben, kunnen we een taxi nemen.

I just looked at the map. I think the city center is about a 15-minute walk from the station. Shall we first walk to the tourist office and get a map there? After that we’ll go for a walk past the church and the monument and we can take photos.

Could you quickly check on Google whether the tourist office is open today? If it’s raining or if we’re in a hurry, we can take a taxi.
