Vanaf 1 april geldt in het centrum van Utrecht een zone. Oude mogen er minder vaak rijden, zodat de lucht schoner wordt. Veel mensen kiezen daarom voor , zoals de fiets of het .

From April 1st a green zone will be in effect in the centre of Utrecht. Older cars will be allowed to drive there less frequently, so the air will become cleaner. Many people are therefore choosing sustainable modes of transport, such as cycling or public transport.

The municipality advises: travel by train and park your bike in the new bicycle parking facility at Utrecht Central. That way the journey is often shorter than by car. Electric cars are permitted to enter the zone, but parking remains expensive. Check the municipal website for times and routes.
