(Passport lost while on holiday)

U logt in op de van de Nederlandse in Madrid. Gisteren is uw tas gestolen in de metro. In de tas zaten uw paspoort, uw bankpas en uw telefoon. U bent geschrokken, maar u bent niet gewond. U heeft al gedaan bij de in Spanje.

Op de website leest u wat u moet doen. U moet het formulier “Paspoort kwijt of gestolen” invullen en een kopie van de uploaden. De ambassade maakt dan een tijdelijk paspoort. Met dit document kunt u terugreizen naar Nederland en naar uw bellen. U denkt: dit is een kleine , maar het had erger kunnen zijn.
You log in to the website of the Dutch embassy in Madrid. Yesterday your bag was stolen on the metro. Your passport, bank card and phone were in the bag. You are shaken, but not injured. You have already filed a report with the police in Spain.

On the website you read what you need to do. You must complete the form “Passport lost or stolen” and upload a copy of the report . The embassy will then issue a temporary passport. With this document you can travel back to the Netherlands and call your travel insurance . You think: this is a small disaster , but it could have been worse.
