(Short review - an evening at the cinema)
On Friday evening, I tried a neighborhood cinema in Lyon. I went to a screening in the original version, with subtitles. The screen is comfortable, but the poster promised more than it delivered: the film, a romantic drama, starts well then becomes predictable.
The story deals with the friendship between two colleagues who go on a trip after a difficult event. The protagonist is believable, but some supporting characters remain vague. I would recommend this film to those who like calm narratives. For a regular outing, the subscription can be worth it if you go often.

Salut !
Hi!
I’m looking at the movies at Cinéma Lumière for Saturday. There’s a French comedy and a drama (in the original version with subtitles). I also saw a poster for an action film, but I don’t know if it’s worth it.
Which genre do you prefer? And which screening are you free for: 6:30 p.m. or 9 p.m.? If you want, we can buy the tickets online. See you soon, Maxime

Hi Maxime — thanks for the info! On Saturday I’m free. I advise you to go see the drama in the original version with subtitles: that way we enjoy the voices and dialogues better. The comedy tempts me too, but I’d rather watch a more serious story right now. As for the time, 6:30 p.m. works better for me. We should book the tickets today if the screenings are going to sell out soon. Can you take care of it? I’ll pay you back whenever you want.
