Note interne - Coordination des analyses au laboratoire
Suite à la demande du service R&D, le laboratoire de chimie analysera un échantillon de provenant d’un prototype. Le responsable précise que l’échantillon doit rester et être manipulé la référente qualité. Si une est suspectée, l’ sera stoppée et un nouvel échantillon sera demandé.
Avant l’analyse, l’équipe vérifiera l’étiquette et la chaîne de traçabilité, puis appliquera la du protocole interne (matière solide, puis dissolution). Le chef de projet rappelle que, quand le rapport sera validé, le service R&D aura reçu les résultats et pourra comparer les données avec celles de la dernière découverte.Following the request from the R&D department, the chemistry laboratory will analyze a metal sample from a prototype. The manager specifies that the sample must remain sterilized and be handled under the supervision of the quality officer. If contamination is suspected, the study will be stopped and a new sample will be requested.
Before the analysis, the team will check the label and the traceability chain, then apply the method from the internal protocol (solid material, then dissolution). The project manager reminds everyone that, when the report is validated, the R&D department will have received the results and will be able to compare the data with that of the latest discovery.

Amine (technicien de labo): Show Claire, je t’appelle du labo de chimie : l’échantillon du lot 3 sent fortement le solvant et le bouchon était mal fermé, j’ai peur qu’il soit contaminé.

We have to start tomorrow morning a series of measurements on a liquid and a small metal sample. Can you confirm that you can prepare the workstation according to the protocol (sterilized glassware, labels, tidying/organization)?
I saw yesterday that two vials were not properly closed and I’m afraid they are contaminated. If that’s the case, we’ll have to remake them under supervision from Léa. Also tell me if you think the liquid might evaporate during transport.

Oui, je peux préparer le poste selon le protocole : verrerie stérilisée, étiquettes et zone de travail rangée avant 8h30. J'ai aussi remarqué hier que deux flacons semblaient mal fermés. Pour éviter tout risque, je propose de mettre ces flacons de côté et de préparer deux nouveaux échantillons, sous la supervision de Léa si nécessaire.
Concernant l'évaporation, je pense que le liquide pourrait s'évaporer si les flacons restent à température ambiante trop longtemps. Avons-nous une boîte isotherme ou du film parafilm pour sceller les flacons pendant le transport ?

Yes, I can prepare the workstation according to the protocol: sterilized glassware, labels, and the work area tidied up before 8:30. I also noticed yesterday that two vials seemed to be poorly closed. To avoid any risk, I suggest setting those vials aside and preparing two new samples, under Léa’s supervision if necessary.
Regarding evaporation, I think the liquid could evaporate if the vials stay at room temperature for too long. Do we have an insulated box or parafilm to seal the vials during transport?
