Ce samedi, notre magasin organise un atelier gratuit pour apprendre à relooker un salon sans gros travaux. This Saturday, our store is organizing a free workshop to learn how to makeover a living room without major work. An advisor will show how to make the most of natural light, choose a rug and sheer curtains, and create a warm atmosphere with two light sources. He will also explain how to match colors and hang pictures without damaging the walls.

Participants can come with photos of their room. If you prefer a minimalist style, you will be offered simple storage solutions and wooden furniture. Depuis quelques semaines, je réaménage l'espace de mon salon. J'ai changé de place la commode pour profiter de la lumière naturelle près de la fenêtre. J'ai aussi accroché une affiche au-dessus de la chaîne hi-fi, et ça donne une ambiance plus moderne. En revanche, le style minimaliste n'est pas vraiment à mon goût : je préfère quand c'est plus chaleureux. J'ai donc ajouté un grand tapis, deux coussins et des rideaux transparents. Salut Claire ! J'ai bien réaménagé la chambre d'amis. Maintenant, l'ambiance est plus chaleureuse et il y a davantage de lumière naturelle : j'ai mis des rideaux plus fins qui laissent passer la journée mais qui occultent la nuit. J'ai gardé la commode, mais j'ai déplacé la table de chevet près du lit pour plus de confort. Je n'ai gardé ni la vieille chaîne hi-fi ni les grandes affiches, ça faisait trop chargé à mon goût.

Pour la lumière, il y a un plafonnier et une lampe de chevet avec une lumière douce. Côté bruit, la rue est calme et j'ai ajouté un tapis et un coussin pour plus d'isolation. Dis‑moi si tu veux que la pièce soit totalement sombre ou si tu préfères une veilleuse.
Hi Claire! I’ve rearranged the guest room. Now the atmosphere is warmer and there’s more natural light: I put up thinner curtains that let light through during the day but block it at night. I kept the chest of drawers, but I moved the bedside table near the bed for more comfort. I kept neither the old hi-fi system nor the big posters; it felt too cluttered for my taste.
