I'm sharing the plan for the long April trip. The idea is to travel with family and combine work and relaxation: two days in Seville for a conference and, afterwards, three nights on the Cádiz coast. To avoid unexpected problems, we'll book an organized package just for hotels and airport transfers; the rest we'll do at our own pace. The main leg will be by train to Madrid, and from there we'll take the flight. It's advisable to arrive in good time to board the train without rushing and, on the return, to coordinate who will pick up the car when we get off the shuttle bus.
Before booking, I need you to confirm what you prefer: leave for a long weekend or add one more day and depart on Thursday afternoon? Also tell me which activity you'd prefer as the main one: a walk along the shore or a hiking route in the mountains. ¡Me apetece mucho! Yo puedo del 5 al 16 de agosto, pero prefiero salir el 6 para llegar con calma. Sobre el transporte, elegiría ir en coche: así podemos parar en pueblos y cambiar el plan si hace mucho calor. Un viaje organizado sería más cómodo, pero también más caro.
El recorrido Sevilla → Cádiz → Granada me parece perfecto. Respecto al día de senderismo, propongo hacerlo cuando estemos cerca de la montaña (por ejemplo, cerca de Granada) y dejarlo para el penúltimo día, por si cambiamos el orden de las visitas.
¿Sabes qué presupuesto tiene Diego? Si tiene que ahorrar, podríamos fijar un tope de 70–80 € por persona y noche y buscar hoteles sencillos o apartamentos.

I'd love to go! I can do August 5–16, but I prefer to leave on the 6th so we can arrive without rushing. Regarding transport, I'd choose to go by car: that way we can stop in villages and change plans if it's very hot. An organized tour would be more comfortable, but also more expensive.
The route Seville → Cádiz → Granada sounds perfect. For the hiking day, I suggest doing it when we're near the mountains (for example, around Granada) and leaving it for the penultimate day, in case we change the order of visits.
Do you know what budget Diego has? If he needs to save, we could set a limit of €70–80 per person per night and look for simple hotels or apartments.
If that sounds good, I'll look up two accommodation options in Seville and Cádiz this afternoon and send you the links.
