Las oraciones consecutivas expresan una consecuencia lógica o natural de una situación previa en el discurso.

(Consecutive clauses express a logical or natural consequence of a previous situation in the discourse.)

  1. Previous situation + consecutive connector (entonces, así es que, o sea que...) ⭢ consequence.

Tal + sustantivo + queFue tal conexión que empezaron a salir. (It was such a connection that they started dating.)

Exceptions!

  1. Entonces, o sea que y así (es) que can be similar and sometimes interchangeable in real use. In this table, entonces is used with a temporal value (= luego / después), o sea que to explain information, and así que to indicate a direct result.
